About

Bonjour and welcome to my dotcom page.

So I grew up on the sunny shores of Cape Town yet thoroughly  experienced life in the bustling capitals of London, Buenos Aires and Tel Aviv – though it was Paris that caught my heart and I decided to make it home…..

Since moving here in 2006 the city has been quite a fabulous adventure – let’s see… I live  next door to fashion’s dark-rocker designer Rick Owens, I’ve appeared in a french feature film along-side actress Emmanuelle Seigner and I even have a designer pair of high heels named after me found in the Marais… Yes, a collection called “Nirit” exists :)

I have worked extensively as a television presenter and journalist the world over, and as a result been invited to cover an array of international events ranging from music, fashion, video-gaming, confectionery, technology and even sport. Give me any subject and I’ll turn it into a glamorous affair!

Thanks to all my travels, I have  mastered 5 languages English, Spanish, French, Hebrew and Afrikaans which have certainly come in useful and probably the best gift my parents ever gave me.

In 2008 I launched the popular blogazine Paris Popcorn that today reaches a global audience who lust for the Parisian social, cultural and fashion scenes – I aim to take my fans to the  ‘backstage of everything’ and deliver exclusive coverage and sneak peaks into the world of glamour! From large corporations to private individuals interested in my opinions and personal take on current trends, I am followed internationally. I have  interviewed fabulous icons the likes of Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, Dita Von Teese, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Eva Herzigova to name but a few.

Other than my blog, I am also the Paris-based trends, fashion and lifestyle writer  for a variety of fasion and culture magazines the world over from Milan to Beijing. I also consult on trends and creative direction and co-host various TV shows.

I think this pretty much sums it all but if you have further questions or want to get in touch, feel free to send an e-mail to contact@parispopcorn.com

Voila!

NS xoxo
